Crystal matrix is what they are called sometimes, I’m not sure what type of stone it is, perhaps quartz?

Yes, it seems to be quartz I believe, it’s quite heavy and has a couple hundred crystals. I will research the crystal matrix and hopefully find info. Thanks for responding.
Yes, I agree it looks like Quartz, possibly Rutilated Quartz - it looks like there are some dark projectiles in there.
