Hello,
My friend showed me his crystals and I was able to identify most of them but I am stuck with that one. Please see photos.
My impression is Schorl in matrix. (Black Tourmaline). 
hard to tell for pix.some testing needed,also some description.
Rutilated quartz is my guess.
Possibly kyanite or feldspar in matrix
As you can see from the answers, it is very difficult to tell from a photo alone. It would help to know more such has Hardness, Crystal Shape etc.
But if I were to guess based on the photos alone, my guess is Scapolite.
There are actually 3 different minerals in that picture including the matrix that they are in, but I am curious to see more answers first. 
I love to see the discovery process in motion.
