I’m looking for a gem cutter who will cut a pair of 8mm spheres of opal for a pair of cufflinks that I’m making. I’m having trouble finding anything that’s not a Welo Opal bead. Any recommendations are appreciated, and if you know a specific person or company who does this, please let me know!
Black Opal Direct in Australia will do it for you, I guess it will depend where in the world you are. I have several friends who will cut them, and sell them to you, or you can send them your opal to cut. I know people in Australia and the Netherlands, and here in the USA, I know of a few good cutters.
