I am trying to identify what type of tourmaline this is. The identification states green tourmaline but I see a distinct bluish green or dark teal color. Can anyone give me their opinion please?
My impression is that you have a Verdelite. If you have a Chelsea Filter, view your stone bathed in incandescent light while looking through the filter at the stone. If you see a pink or red glow coming from the stone, then you have a Chrome Green Tourmaline.
