I really did and I’m so very grateful every day. I often find myself wondering what he would have eventually done with all of those stones had I not bought them. Good heavens, the way he was ripping them out of the settings! Errrr…., it still has me gritting my teeth every time I see him doing it in my mind! I haven’t thrown those stones away. Some of them are tiny but some are pretty large, enough so that they could probably be recut.
I’m in the process of studying gemology now through gem society, here, of course… If you or anyone reading this, haven’t checked out any of the classes, you really should. They offer some great, in-depth courses that are extremely affordable. These are college level courses that offer certification programs. I’m really psyched about getting my certification in gemology. I’ll be able to us it anywhere.
However, at this time, I’m only interested in it at this point in order to find out what my gemstones are. I have so of them that it would cost me more to pay someone to evaluate them because of the quantity (1000 plus) than it is going to cost me to take the course and evaluate them myself. Of course the course takes time but hey, I’m not in a hurry and, I do have all of you good people who know so much. Everyone is always willing to step in and offer help anytime and every time I’ve ever needed help. That’s worth a million bucks as far as I’m concerned!
You guys are all amazing!
Thank you for being you!
