Moissanite longevity and potential for a market spike

I love moissanites. They’re a great alternative to diamonds and much prettier in my opinion. As an investment, personally I’m neutral because as a collector I see nothing wrong with keeping even cheaper stones in the collection to trade or sell if you’re ever in a pinch. How much value they have is also subjective. Depends on who’s buying and who’s selling. Diamonds are not rare either and many people can make lab grown diamonds these days but the price in the market is still quite high. Anyway if you like moissanites use/sell them. You can get excellent quality moissanites, white sapphire etc in place of diamonds. People in general, in my observation, are turning to other colored gems and moissanites definitely have a place at the table. I just want sellers to stop with the wierd tricky wording when they sell anything other than a diamond. Just say what it is. If it’s 5A cubic zirconia just say that. If it’s Moissanites just say it’s Moissanites not Moissanite diamond, not simulated diamond just say exactly what it is and stop confusing people.
