Greetings! I am a self taught novice who has always been a \”gem geek\”. I am fascinated by colored gemstones and have a special affection for rarer garnets and single source stones with interesting optical properties like color change, schiller or pleochroism (tanzanite, turkish diopsore and Oregon sunstone come to mind). I am excited to begin a deeper dive into educating myself on colored gemstones and diamonds and perhaps one day design my own pieces.
