Can anyone please identify this gemstone?
The was tested , coming synthetic Ruby.
And of day they sent to me another email explain this is a waterworm tourmaline or something else could have been a mistake , but not as synthetic. The piece must have been tumbled to hide its origin with the idea of fraud . b

Looks like Corundum species: ruby. As for pink tourmaline, it does not fluoresce what-so-ever. Some synthetic rubies fluoresces as do natural untreated rubies (depending on origin). Should try a Refractive Index test, since I wouldn’t recommend a destructive hardness test unless you are committed.
