Gmstone Question

When your sitting in your gemstone factory and get some very nice stones cut - lets put a Q&A here:

  1. What stone is this?

  2. What cutting is it?

Lets see who has good knowledge on such fantastic stones, and well even if you dont have a good knowledge, we are all here to learn aren’t we?

Probably aqua. I call these ‘pear modified brilliant’

I find the variance in nomenclature kind of crazy sometimes. Navette/Marquise. Concave/Fantasy. Pear/Drop etc.

I call this cut Pendalogue cut and it could be a irradiated heat treated topaz??
who knows could be synthetic

My guess is a modified pear cut, London Blue or Swiss Blue Topaz.

Indeed they are modified brilliant (diamond cut), but not an aquamarine but a London blue topaz that is a real blue colour, not a grey green colour that people call a London blue topaz. By the way, what’s your email David? (@Skyjems),
