Can I just ask here how update the information is here relating to gem pricing… I noticed mention of a record ruby price of $400,000ish p/c which seems a little outdated?

Hello Lucy,
Thanks for catching the reference to the ruby record price. I’ve updated that to reflect the most recent record, from an auction in May 2015, at a little over $1 million per carat.
We do try to update the price listings for gems as we can to reflect current market conditions. The price listings are only a guide.
