Hi all. I thought I saw a version of this “plot” that included the blends. Does anyone know if there is one, and if so, how to find it?

Hello Audrey, you can find the photo on our main Garnet gem listing. If you’re trying to learn more about the actual model depicted, you could try to contact Lina Jakaitė, a geologist at Vilnius University.

If you look up the various species names for the garnets, you will find their compositions described…for example, pyrope/almandine is rhodolite and it says so in any on line entries where rhodolite is referenced…-royjohn
