Just finish this for my son apon his request. Blue sapphire in a gold colored coated cross. ( I’m pretty sure it came out a quarter machine)

I kept in mind he is 7 so I decided to not take to much time on cutting or polishing. Once he is older and I know he won’t lose it I’ll give him better quality stuff.

How wonderful that your young son is requesting you make him jewelry! My son is 28 and making jewelry for him and with him is one of my favorite things to do. He has quite a collection. I’m sure your son will treasure this piece.
