Does anyone know another name for or another material i can use to disolve kimberlite host rocks?
I cant find this material sold in small quantities unless i’m misunderstanding what it is. I keep getting aquarium sand or that magnetic stuff inside the old give the bald guy hair with a magnet toys.
If you are attempting to recover larger crystals, mechanical removal (abrasion tools) is the best way.
I hesitate to suggest a chemical extraction process like posted here because hydrofluoric acid is very dangerous. Highly recommend not using that method!

Thanks soaking one type in water for a week is doing enough for me to break some stones out of. With light
hand tools.
