Emerald gemstone

Hello , kindly do give me an opinion on this emerald . If it’s ideal for its cut color clarity.its 30 carats with significant clarity enhancement

Can’t really comment on clarity or color. Lighting isn’t very good and not in focus. From the apparent size, ring and finger, I don’t think 30 ct is right. Maybe 3.0?

Hi thanx for the reply .

I don’t mean to be rude but. Why are you asking our opinion, if you already have a I G I report? My opinion is, nice stone, and a nice ring. It looks more translucent than transparent, with numerous inclusions, but still a nice stone.

It’s the quality of the stone I’m wondering not id especially emeralds since grading of emerald is very confusing. Lab reports only give id … thank you for your reply.

From the photo looks like a very low quality emerald
Like they sell auctions on line.
A good quality emerald of this size woud be around $3,000 - $5,000 per carat minimum

Yes thank you for your reply. I was initially taken by the size.

Hither dear Nirmalar.
I am going to say that this is very low quality emerald more than lightly Zambian or Zimbabwe material unfortunately I did notes that the certification started that the gem is a vs to is grading. I would hover have graded much lower as this gem is deferentially a P2 to P3 grading in my understanding However I have not seen the gem with proper lighting behind it and this is only a picture that I am guessing or rather guestemating from but I can however surmise that it has very little light passing threw the gem that I could tell from the colour alone. I would place the value at the $350 to $500 pc mark.

I hope this docent come across as rude or impolite at all! but rather my very best opinion from the information I had avualebil to surmise from. I truly do suggest a new evaluation certification. on the peace just to be totally sure! as I had stated it is super difficulty to give a fully and accurate readings from a few pictures but it is a stunning specimen swell as very rear size for the material.

I would love to know what happens with a resirtification so pleces let us know what happens.

And a gain my apologies if this comes across as anything more than me just being as honest as I possibly can be.
As a gemO I quite often have to deliver some bad news! and I profusely dislike having to doing so as there is never a nice way to carry out a disappointment.

Altho I also always remind people that no matter the man given value we place on a peace, it has as much value to the owner as it would to a treasure Hunter. The true value in every gem or jewel is in its ability to optically captivate or potentially catch a passionate prisoner! By this I mean that it is a treasure non the less.

There are others out there that would agree and that would pay more than the market price per carat due to there love and want for it. There is no treasure that is truly undesirable to at least someone person! A farmer my see his dried out old corn leafs and husks as a bi or waist product of his crops, but the horse breeder/Stabler may see it as the perfect winner feed problem solution! there for it becomes someone else is treasure. It is very much about precipitin and innovative thinking from different minds and how much some one values it and if that drives them to the need to have then it then it could lead to a value that leaves boath party’s happy.

in that comment I hope that you will find your counter part that sees the same value in the piece as you do in time to come. good luck and keep us updated.

Best regards Jarryed.
