Cutting problem

I am cutting a topas for my sister.
I am pretty fresh as a cutter and managed to chip a corner. It went down on the girdle a bit so I need to recut the whole thing I guess or add another set of 3 chamfers on the corners. Anyone here that could advise if light will leak out of stone or look funny if I would do it? Or just leave it and cover it with the prong when fitted?
Thanks in advance.
Janne.

You may already know this but you have to set up a Topaz for cutting at least 15% angle off of the cleavage plain? otherwise it will sheer off along the cleavage plain when cutting
in regard to your other question not sure if it is not too big covering with the claw would be an option

Is that a Sterling machine you are using?

Yes it is a Sterling.
