I have a certificated mixed cut pear shaped colour change Spinel of 2.72cts, violet in daylight to pinkish purple by iridescent light. Any suggestions as to its intrinsic worth? $50 or $500, I haven’t a clue as I was given it and wondering what to do with it.
Hi Karen, I also have some colour shift Spinel, I might suggest that you post some photo’s as it is impossible to get an idea of clarity and quality of a gem to give any indication of price.
