Can you tell me if this is emerald?

That gem color could be tourmaline - but it could also be chrome diopside or a very high quality fully saturated Tsavorite garnet… A refractive index test will tell you what it is… The hexagonal one could be a very well-saturated emerald too. Again, just do a RI test on them…

Has anyone mentioned that it could be Tsavorite Garnet? I"ve read that Synthetic emeralds can also be layered with inclusions to make it look natural. But I’m not qualified as a gemmologist to make a bold statement!

Honestlythe ring containningthe stone in question doesn’t even look to be real gold . It could be the lighting I suppose. . . And the green stone looks like glass. But I’m no expert.
