Burmese Amber?

Hello, im new here and wanted to say thank you ahead of time for assisting with this inquiry.

Uploading: 20201125_163831.jpg… My amber piece seems to have characteristics of being burmite, however I’m certainly no professional. Aside from the termites present there are other inclusions that baffle me. Any ideas would be great appreciated …

Hi normally any Burmese amber will fluorese under ultraviolet light thsnks

To verify it is actually Amber vs plastic or such all one need do is to warm water on the stove to dissolve as much salt as can be held in the water. Let the water cool to room temp and place the Amber in the saturated salt water solution, Amber will float at the surface much like ice and plastic will sink. From that point you can proceed with confidence trying to determine what your source might be.
