Hi everyone! I am curious; does anyone know the etymology of blue topaz’s trade names? In other words, how did we get the names “London blue”, “Swiss blue”, etc.?
One explanation I have heard is that the original treatment facilities were in these cities/countries, but I cannot find any evidence proving this in my own research…
