Great article on the site today about Ametrine: Ametrine Value, Price, and Jewelry Information - International Gem Society
GIA notes ‘Color Origin Cannot Currently Be Determined’ in their treatment notes.
I have never heard of any kind of ametrine treatment, has anyone else?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can’t they heat/irradiate it improve the colour? Test’s wouldn’t show it, would it?

I don’t know, heating should more likely yield citrine no?
Radiation should turn it to some sort of smoky or lemon quartz as far as I understand?

Was costly in the 80’s, that might not be the case these days, but seeing has they said ‘cannot currently be determined’, maybe it has no treatment at all.
Had to ammend it, i’d put a link to
