I am looking for a reliable resource that identifies whether the colloquially known Amethyst Flower is a stalactite or not. I have found resources, that seem to be professional, that say they are cross sections of stalactites found in caves and others that say they are cross sections of Tube Agates. I want to put a true description on my website. Thanks.
