Amber ring real or fake?

I have found ways to test Amber pieces but not Amber set in jewelry. Obviously with the saltwater test the pieces don’t float due to silver. Does anyone know how to test Amber set in a piece of jewelry?

There are many pages on the net which explain testing of amber. My preferred method is with UV light.

Thanks so much for your response. I don’t have a UV light but will find one. I did this backward, should have bought a UV lamp prior to the Amber purchases. Well see…
