What’s Happening Here?

An Instagram friend asked me about a photo of emerald in mother rock. It’s certainly not something in my background, but I thought some experienced mineralogist here might have an idea. Any thoughts about what this is:

Violane, a blue diopside or Dianite, a blue jade. but i’m only guessing from what i see. Some idea of where it came from might help.

Thanks. Word is this comes from Brazil. Does that narrow things down enough?

no then, sorry, i was hoping Asia, but i’m sure someone has knowledge of something like it on here somewhere.

I would guess sodalite. Very common in Brazilian granites or gnaisses. But never saw it associated with emerald -beryl.
