I recently purchased some affordable grey spinel rings, and they are the stars in my collection. They look almost like diamonds(so sparkly), and they never look the same color. Sometimes they are whitish grey, sometimes blueish, sometimes even purpley depending on the light. The dark ring, which looks almost like black diamonds, is transparent however, and sometimes looks almost dark blue in some light. Very happy with my spinels! And I just found out they are an alternate August birthstone so I am totally justified in snapping spinel up. Have a great day!
