I have already cut and polished the pavilion and before the transfer my stone came un-doped.
Does anyone have any tips to precisely re-dop the stone?
If you use wax you can usually super glue it into what’s left of the wax. If you use glue I can’t help you
If the original dop position is still visible, I’d use that as your reference and take a little time to center the pavilion before resetting it. A small amount of wax can also make fine adjustments easier than trying to force the stone into position.
