Mozambique purple Garnet

How do I know if The stone from an online seller is a Mozambique purple garnet and what is the value of these per carat ?

Is the stone rough or finished goods?
It could be Rhodolite Garnet or Chrome Pyrope Garnet
The first question requires the second for an answer, also the weight of the stone and the cut.

It is already cut and the following specifications:
Purple Garnet
Mozambique

Natural Garnet, no treatment

2.34ct
9.75x7.61x3.81
eye clean
Some Rutile crystals internally that are not eye visible and don’t detract from appearance of stone

Not a bad stone, have you seen the Rhodolite from the Umba River Valley in Tanzania? It’s stupid bright!
