Dragon Garnets

Depends on several factors: your profit on the dragon garnets, your cash flow needs, future market expectations, etc. Keep seperate business sales from collectables. If you want to keep a stone buy it in your name. Other wise all get bought and sold in your business name.

Hi Ella,

I am a Malaya “Dragon” Garnet collector myself and I can tell you as far as the GIA, I submitted one of my garnets and they told me they do not report the fluorescence since it is not a color. Dragon garnets are also valued depending on some variables, like how bright the fluorescence is and what kind of inclusions it has.

You have some excpectional stones and extremely large for the size which is rare. I personally would keep them for investment if I had them.

I have seen them sold on Ebay and Esty.

I commented months ago and listed a website to the GIA on the article on Malaya Dragon Garnets. I hope this information was helpful.
